Stunning photography with a vineyard backdrop
Have you ever been to Preston Peak Winery?
Preston Peak Winery is a function centre just a short 10-minute drive south of Toowoomba, Queensland.
The centre is well known for its spectacular wine and sweeping views of the Lockyer Valley. It has become one of the region’s most popular wedding locations and provides the perfect photography backdrop.
I absolutely love an opportunity to shoot at our beautiful local wedding hot spots, and Preston Peak of course is one of my favourites.
I was lucky enough to be chosen to photograph the wedding of Maddie and Andrew at Preston Peak in August. This fur-baby-loving couple found me through recommendations and I was honoured to meet and share their day with them.
The weather couldn’t have been better and the breathtaking scenery of the Winery, certainly didn’t disappoint. Blue skies, warm sunshine, and of coarse Preston Peak’s famous sunset provided the most wonderful photographic opportunities.

Here comes the Bride
The ceremony started off with Andrew and his groomsmen pulling up in an immaculate Buick.
The cool, calm, and collected groom headed down to the Wedding Tree Pavilion, enveloped by endless vineyard and valley views, and waited patiently for his sweetheart.
Finally, the bride arrived. Maddie, with her infectious smile and heart of gold, elegantly walked down the aisle towards her husband-to-be. The ceremony was enriched with tremendous heart felt warmth from family and friends.
Hand-in-hand, the couple say “I do” under the official direction of the lovely Belinda from Ring the Belle’s Celebrancy Service.
Once the ceremony ended, the remainder of the afternoon was filled with fun, laughter and love as we roamed around the grounds capturing beautiful moments. In Love Pictures, were also there putting together a spectacular video – feel free to head over to their Facebook page to have a preview of it.
