Herman & Jess Wedding Photography – Preston Peak Winery Toowoomba

The Venue

Rolling hills, and amazing sunsets set in the tranquility of Toowoomba’s beautiful Darling downs. Preston Peak winery was the perfect spot for this couple to say I do and the perfect spot for their wedding photography. Preston Peak can be described as one of Toowoomba’s wedding havens. It features a large undercover pavilion, surrounded by the perfect serene countryside that us wedding photographers love. Right next to the pavilion you will find the famous avenue of lights Preston peak is renown for.

Jess looked stunning in her gown. Her bridesmaids matched perfectly in black dresses with white roses as Bouquets. The boys were perfectly matched in stunning cultural attire. Surrounded with 160 of their closest family and friend, group and family shots were also taken. With so many guests there was lots of laughter and happy times.

Portrait Session

Our portrait session started at 4pm down in the beautiful olive grounds on the property. Right down the bottom being a light chaser, we followed that sweet sunshine up the hill as it started setting. The olive grove is the perfect way to start portraits with your drinks and canapes that are bought to you by your fantastic planners. The light that comes through is soft filtered light and can create beautiful light highlights through to moody romantic imagery. As the light sets we move up the hill towards the bridal cabin where those deep glow rays set. Stunning scenery with magical rustic backgrounds is what Preston Peak sunset scenery looks like.

Reception

Yayyyy its Party time! Preston Peak boasts one of the most unique chandeliers in the Toowoomba region. I love being able to come up with new ideas on how to incorporate this unique piece into every wedding I do out here. At low light it creates a magical atmosphere for our couples set with a fireplace which in winter completes this setting.

Jess & Herman First dance what a treat to see such cultural elements put into this even the crew at Preston Peak pulled up a seat and watched this magical event unfold, Traditional dance and costume such a integral part of this reception celebration.
